How it works
Every unit is converted through a common base unit — the pascal. Torr and mmHg are nearly but not exactly identical (1 torr = 1/760 atm exactly, while 1 mmHg is defined from the physical density of mercury) — the difference is under 0.001%, negligible for any practical use but kept distinct here for accuracy.
